Zain Javadd Malik, better known as Zayn Malik, was born on January 12, 1993 in West Lane, Inglaterra. Zayn's dad is from Pakistan and his mom is from England. He's the only boy out of the Malik's four children. His sisters are named Daniya, Waliyha, and Safaa. Zayn tried out for the X Factror because his mom pushed him to do it, even though he's pretty shy. Because of his shyness and his fear of dancing, he almost got kicked off the show. But Simon Cowell finally managed to convince him to go on stage. Zayn still hasn't completely gotten over his stage-fright, but luckily he has his 1D bandmates to help him calm down. Zayn is dating Perrie Edwards from the group Little Mix. They met on the X Factor and became friends, and then started dating. Zayn is a smoker, but he wants to quit soon.
