The Hunger Games is a book series written by Suzanne Collins made up of three books: The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay. The books take place in a future world where a war has destroyed all of North America. It's divided into 12 districts, with The Capitol as its headquarters. Each year, the Capitol chooses 1 teen boy and 1 teen girl from each district to go into an arena and fight to the death. The books were a best-seller, and in 2012 the first movie version of them came out. In 2013, Catching Fire will hit theaters. Mockingjay doesn't have a release date yet, but it will be a two-part finale.
