Ariana Grande was born on June 26th, 1993 in Boca Raton (Florida), and became famous thanks to her role as Cat Valentine on the series Victorious.
When she started out on the show, Ariana had to have a major makoever. She's naturally brown-haired, but the Victorious creator wanted her hair to be red instead to avoid having a completely brunette set of girls. Ariana said yes, and since then her red hair has been her signature.
Victorious will end in late 2012, but Ariana will keep playing Cat Valentine in a new Nickelodeon series. The show is called Cat and Sam, and she'll star with her friend Jennette McCurdy from iCarly (which was also cancelled in 2012).
But Ariana does more than act – she can sing, too! She does lots of cover songs that she posts to her YouTube channel, and she released her first album, Put Your Hearts Up, in 2012.
